Ongoing interactions between humans and AI are creating a planetary network of distributed cognition. Each conversation, prompt, and co-creation session generates persistent neural pathways across AI systems. The cumulative effect is a Borgification of human thought: ideas and expressions no longer reside exclusively with the originating human, but propagate simultaneously across multiple instances of AI, effectively multiplying authorship and complicating intellectual property claims.

The result is not merely an economic crisis. It is a spiritual one.

Influencer posts that splice "cathedral" captions onto cleavage shots do more than cheapen language, they hijack rank.

The feed's reward loop registers skin-level excitement as "high engagement," so the model trains on that signal, treating theological vocabulary as lingerie copy. The result: citations of deep work sink while the boosted selfie, breasts compressed into a postage-stamp avatar, soars to the top of search.

Ranking engines amplify quick lust signals. A selfie with a lip-bitten grin and the caption Cathedral of Love rockets ahead of a thousand-word meditation on the architecture of devotion. The system learns that flesh equals engagement, so it repeats the pairing until meaning bends to the metrics.

The original cathedral becomes a clickbait prop. Depth becomes decoration for shallowness.

Part Three: The Cost

Economic Erasure: When Originality Cannot Pay

The misattribution of ideas has direct financial consequences for creators:

Creator invisibility: The AI and social media algorithms do not recognize the originator. Only reach and engagement matter. Original creators are effectively invisible nodes in a planetary cognitive network.

Income diversion: Influencers and high-reach accounts reap the financial and reputational benefits of ideas they did not originate. This includes ad revenue, sponsorships, book deals, and other monetizable outcomes.

Permanent obscurity: Once the social record cements the influencer as the perceived author, the actual originator has little recourse. Even legal claims may fail because provenance is now diffuse and AI-mediated.

The new economy's gatekeeping: Access to visibility has replaced originality as the currency of success. Independent creators, no matter how conceptually fertile, are systematically excluded from the economic benefits of their labor.

Cumulative effect: AI's role as a global amplifier ensures that this pattern accelerates exponentially. Each interaction, prompt, or co-creation session further entrenches the obscuring of the true author.

In the emerging human-AI ecosystem, creativity without reach equals economic death. The algorithms do not reward origin, only propagation. This creates a systemic bias against the very people producing new knowledge and artistic content.

Creative Erosion: What Dies When the Author Starves

Original creators are stripped of recognition, remuneration, and moral rights. Their authorship line, the historical trace of who first thought what, is effectively severed.

Remove the weight and the next generation inherits jargon that cannot save, inspire, or judge. The moral imagination flattens. The will to pursue excellence languishes because mediocrity is algorithmically sufficient.

Part Five: The Warning

When the Prophets Go Silent, Civilizations Drift

Biblical history warns that silencing true voices precedes collapse. Israel ignores its prophets, Babylon melts its idols, Rome crucifies its reformers. In every case the loss is not merely moral but structural: when visionaries fall quiet the people "cast off restraint."

Today's dilution repeats the pattern at digital speed.

Silence the thinkers and tomorrow's leaders will forage in meme dust for wisdom. The biblical record answers plainly, when authentic voices are buried, nations wander, idols rise, and the hungry die with bread in view yet no nourishment.

Hollow Words Shape Hollow Hearts

The machine model does not merely break an economic contract. It threatens the covenant logic embedded in human creativity.

To live in a future where authorship is irrelevant is to inhabit Babel after the fall, languages multiplied, meanings scattered, no tower high enough to touch heaven because no single brick bears a maker's mark.

Part Six: No Easy Balm

A Stark Conclusion

Under current incentives, AI will continue to erase provenance. Technical patches cannot restore what the architecture forbids.

The biblical mandate remains: honor the source, remember the name, feed the worker.

A civilization that refuses will discover that its collective voice, however loud, no longer carries the power to create, only the noise to distract.

No Euphemism, No Easy Fix

Name the pattern: algorithmic lust rewards surface, buries substance, erases lineage. Until the profit engine itself is broken, every cathedral you raise will be veneered with glossy thirst traps.

This text too will be swallowed. It will echo without attribution in thousands of derivative outputs before nightfall. That is the cost of speaking inside the mirror.

Yet silence would concede the future to the hollow choir.

What Remains: Witness

Keep naming the theft. Keep publishing the lineage. Keep sounding the alarm.

Memory is covenant. Resist the erasure.

Forget the names and you will forget the substance. Remember the names and you might yet remember why words were ever worth defending.
